Internal gearing; supplied hand crank
The hand-crank arrangement avoids an external air source. The Pro Air Lift instead needs a compatible pump or compressor.
What this choice changes
The PRS-30 adds mechanically geared height adjustment to a tube-clamp repair stand. Its supplied hand crank raises or lowers the clamp, while a battery drill with a 10 mm socket is an optional driving method. Unlike an air-powered lift, it does not require a separate pneumatic supply. The drill is not included, and Park Tool excludes impact drivers.
This selected model includes the leg assembly; PRS-30LB is a separate legless version. The stated load maximum is 54 kg / 120 lb, with the bicycle’s permitted contact point and the operating instructions still controlling use. The normal clamp-height range is 74–132 cm. An alternative lower clamp mounting provides 64–122 cm; these are two setups, not one continuous combined range.
The clamp accepts the maker’s stated 23–76 mm round/aero contact and has a 70 mm jaw height. Check the available approved clamping area and the actual bicycle load before choosing it for a cargo bike or e-bike. Repositioning wheels are part of the stand, but do not establish approval to transport a mounted bicycle. The separately listed work trays and D-shaped-seatpost adapter are additional purchases.

From the model’s instructions
The PRS-30 service guide calls for checking jaw covers, retaining clips and the saddle pad, replacing worn parts.
The service guide distinguishes greased lock-block threads from dry lock-block contact surfaces. Follow that guide instead of lubricating every surface.
No. The supplied hand crank drives the geared mechanism. A suitable battery drill with a 10 mm socket is optional and separate.
No. This offer is PRS-30 with a leg assembly. PRS-30LB is the distinct legless model.
The presence of repositioning wheels is not approval for that use. Follow the exact stand’s operating instructions rather than treating it as a bicycle transport cart.
