14 mm
The 14 mm opening must match and the cone area must accept the head profile.
What this choice changes
The selected SCW-14 is one 14 mm cone wrench. Its thin head is intended for narrow adjusting-cone flats, with a reinforced Y-shaped construction and a long vinyl-dipped handle. Choose it for that access profile, rather than as a general 14 mm wrench for every fastener on the bicycle.
The industrial phosphate finish and dedicated handle distinguish it from the compact double-ended DCW format. The DCW-1 in the seller bundle also includes a 14 mm end, so buying both adds a different handle/head format rather than a new adjustment operation.
Check the actual cone flats and available clearance. Park Tool does not intend its cone wrenches as general tools for wide pedal or axle-nut flats. No exact head thickness or torque capacity is established here; the family’s 13–20 mm size range is not the supplied package.

Choose the long single-size format or DCW double-ended format for the way you work, without counting another size as a new operation.
The cone wrench is intended for narrow adjusting flats. Match the available clearance and head profile; no exact head thickness is established here.
It offers a long dedicated handle and reinforced Y-head, while DCW is compact and double-ended. The basic cone-adjustment operation overlaps.
Park Tool restricts cone wrenches to narrow flats; wide pedal or axle-nut contacts are not the intended role.
Separate the surface that touches the bicycle from the interface that accepts your wrench, then check access and any required retaining accessory.
Buying guide ↗Match the workholding surface, adjusting flats or extraction contact before treating an axle insert, cone wrench and puller as one tool family.
