The job

Long handles and included adapters for the stated headset scope; additional bottom-bracket contacts are separate.

Format

Complete press with quick release

Check length and contact separately

A sufficient working span does not prove that the adapter bears on the correct component surface.

What this choice changes

A quick-release press with stepped headset contacts

The HHP-2 is a complete pressing assembly with a quick-release setup, long handles and stepped cup adapters. Park Tool lists 1, 1-1/8, 1-1/4 and 1.5-inch headset systems. Choose it for the actual cup contact and available working span, rather than assuming that a press with a long shaft fits every bearing job.

The maker specifies a maximum 315 mm working length and adapter steps of 25.7, 29.7 and 32.8 mm. These describe the press and its adapters; they are not a complete chart of every bearing inner and outer diameter. Match the cup, frame access and appropriate contact before pressing.

For the documented BBT-90.3 bottom-bracket use, those separate installation bushings complement the HHP-2. They are not automatically supplied with this offer. This distinction helps when choosing a starter setup: a complete press may still need additional contacts for a different component system.

Check length and contact separately

A sufficient working span does not prove that the adapter bears on the correct component surface.

Choose the required contact kit

Additional bottom-bracket applications may need separate documented bushings.

Fit checks & limits

  • No universal headset/bearing fit or calibrated pressing-force indication.
  • The generic plastic material field does not identify a load-bearing component; no whole-body material claim is made.

Questions before you choose

Does it include the BBT-90.3 bushings?

No. That removal/bushing set is a separate complementary purchase.

Does 315 mm describe every bottom-bracket shell it fits?

It is the press’s maximum working length. The component’s contacts and configuration still need to match.

What should I check besides nominal headset size?

Check the available working length, adapter contact and component-specific pressing requirements. The 315 mm maximum span is not a universal bearing compatibility chart.
