Fork crown-race extraction
The race diameter and column length must fit, but the blades also need access beneath the actual race.
What this choice changes
The CRP-2 removes a crown race from its seat on the fork. Three blade/block assemblies can be positioned independently beneath the race, while the handle operates an internal pressing disc against the steering-column end. This enclosed screw/disc arrangement is a different construction from a two-edge separator needing separate assisting tools.
Park Tool lists 1, 1-1/8, 1-1/4 and 1.5-inch fork-column systems, crown-race outside diameters up to 64 mm and column lengths from 140 to 430 mm. These limits describe different parts of the setup. Check clearance under the actual race as well as the overall dimensions; an accepted fork standard alone does not establish blade access.
The thin blades are wearing parts, with replacement reference 1155-3. A replacement requirement is not a promise of spare blades in the box. The manual also notes limited-access combinations and possible cosmetic marking at the fork crown, so choose it from the actual contact arrangement rather than a damage-free removal claim.

The race diameter and column length must fit, but the blades also need access beneath the actual race.
This complete screw/disc puller differs from YC-1859’s two-edge separator and separate assisting equipment.
No. Race outside diameter, column length and blade access are separate requirements.
No spare set is established. The maker identifies thin blades as wearing parts and lists replacement reference 1155-3.
They address crown-race removal with different contact and actuation arrangements: three adjustable blade locations and a built-in pulling assembly here, versus two edges and separate assisting tools.
