The job

A two-upright stand with spring-loaded calipers and included thru-axle adapters; accessory base separate.

Format

Two uprights with spring-loaded calipers

Check all three capacities

Hub width, rim width and wheel diameter are separate fit requirements.

What this choice changes

Paired uprights for a dedicated wheelbuilding bench

The TS-2.3 holds a removed wheel between two uprights and brings spring-loaded calipers to the rim. This is a bench-oriented support and reference arrangement, rather than an indicator strapped to a bicycle. Removable composite caliper tips are part of the contact design; the stand does not measure spoke tension.

Park Tool specifies hub widths up to 200 mm and rim widths up to 102 mm. Its wheel capacity is up to 29+ inches with or without the tire, or 32 inches without the tire. Check these three dimensions independently: a large enough wheel opening does not establish that the hub or rim fits. The included TS-2TA.3 adapters serve the stated thru-axle arrangement, alongside quick-release and solid-hub support.

Plan the mounting as part of the workstation. The optional TSB-2.2 tray base shown in some photographs is separate, as are dial indicators and the DT-3 rotor gauge. Compare Feedback’s single-arm station if a freestanding base or a compatible portable-stand mounting arrangement better suits the space. A dishing gauge and tension meter remain separate measurement tools for the build.

Choose for your actual setup

Check all three capacities

Hub width, rim width and wheel diameter are separate fit requirements.

Plan the bench mounting

The stand does not include the optional tray base. Confirm the mounting arrangement and access around the wheel.

Fit checks & limits

  • No universal hub fit or quantified centering accuracy.
  • Frame material is unresolved: current maker description specifies steel while the selected generic field says aluminum/plastic; no whole-frame material filter is used.

Questions before you choose

Is the tray base included?

The TSB-2.2 base is a separate accessory. The main illustration here shows the stand without that tray base.

Does the stand measure spoke tension?

No. A tension meter supplies a different measurement. A dishing gauge also checks a separate rim-to-hub relationship.

Why compare it with the Feedback Pro stand?

TS-2.3 uses paired uprights and rim calipers; Feedback uses a single-arm station with its stated base and mounting options. Compare both layout and exact axle capacities.
